Democracy for America: Boston DFA Boston

WHO ARE WE?

DFA Boston meets the first Wednesday of every month to support participatory politics, and candidates, who are fiscally responsible and socially progressive candidates, at all levels of government, with the aim of rebuilding the Democratic Party from the grassroots, following the mission of Democracy for America, the organization founded by Gov. Howard Dean, now the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

WHAT HAVE WE DONE?

At our monthly meetings, we learn about local, state and national issues and races. We don't leave without an action plan for the coming month. We meet candidates and volunteer in our communities. We explain the workings of the state bureaucracies. We've worked to help Gov. Dean become DNC Chair and to protect Social Security. See our past agenda, from previous months, for more details.

WHAT WILL WE DO?

Our immediate agenda is to help elect our endorsed candidates for Boston City Council and Mayor. We discuss issues essential to Boston's communities, and seek to be involved in their resolution. Through these grassroots efforts, we are working toward taking back the Democratic Party and taking back the country!
