I agree. Bush should immediately recind any operations that compromise citizen security and civil rights under the guise of security. Security should not be in the hands of the administration of the country but in the intelligence community. Only when a possible threat is confirmed through proper warrant and subsequent wiretap, or order to do survellience by a branch of the judiciary, should that information even be passed to the administration. The present use circumvents our check-and-balance process of our democracy and ultimately undermines its initial intentions.
