Happy Thanksgiving!
In the spirit of new beginnings, holiday season, etc. I've taken down my election year posts on 2005 ward committee endorsements, etc. Look for some new posts soon regarding the Second Suffolk district and (hopefully) planning for a pre-caucus 2006 candidates event in Boston involving many of the ward committees in that district. It would be open to all and give a glimpse of those running for people who want to get involved early.
BTW -- the Democratic State Committee met in Malden last Tuesday and discussed their plans for a more comprehensive field and fundraising effort in 2006. It was particularly encouraging to hear the the Party want to stake the standard bearer with $1 million post-primary as too often, the winning candidate found themselves broke after September. Not that money is everything but faced with a well-heeled Repub opponent, message is irrelevant if you can't get it out.
